The apt is located In the middle of the “barrio” which looked a little sketchy, especially at night. My elderly mother-in-law was so afraid of the location that she initially refused to exit the car or ever be left in the apt alone.
It was one of the more affordable options within a short 10 -15 min drive from the convention center, so it all worked out fine.

Wir haben immer einen Parkplatz in der Nähe des Hauses gefunden.
Die Kingsize Betten waren bequem, die Schlaf-Couch im Wohnzimmer haben wir nicht benutzt.
In der Küche waren einige Utensilien vorhanden um kleine Gerichte zu kochen. Wir haben sehr gerne den Grill an der Unterkunft benutzt. Am Abend gibt das Feuer im Tisch eine schöne Stimmung.
Das Bad ist gut ausgestattet und sauber. Die Handtücher im Bad sind flauschig und sehr sauber.
Roksolana hat auf Anfragen sehr schnell reagiert und war zu jeder Zeit freundlich.
Allerdings war das Haus recht teuer für seine Größe. Alerdings würden wir es trotzdem wieder buchen 🙂

Roksolana is indeed a super host. Locating the place was very easy and the check in process was very smooth. The place is in a very quiet area in DT San Diegon close to everything. We didn't have any issues with parking like others mentioned. It is free street parking and even though we returned past 8pm every night, we always found a spot to park our car.
The place just like the pictures and as described, very clean, nice bathroom and kitchen, comfortable king beds. The king beds were very important to us, especially we have 2 pre-teen kids that shared a bedroom. The beds were more comfortable than hotel beds.
The bathroom is very neat and clean, with plenty of towels to use.
The board games were a hit for the kids. They got to play board games every night.
Roksolana was very responsive and checked in on us the next day to make sure we had a smooth check in and that we have no questions.
Definitely recommend her place, worth the money spent.
My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay. 2 comfortable king beds. Pull out sofa worked great. Had everything we needed to eat a few meals. Would book again.
Roksolana was very informative and helpful throughout the whole planning, and during the stay! Her assistance is greatly appreciated and anyone who gets to stay in a space hosted by Roksolana is in for a real treat. The place was filled with many amenities and could really feel her intention of creating a warm welcome which was greatly felt. This space really highlighted our stay and 100% would book with Roksolana again.
We really enjoyed our stay. There was always street parking available regardless of the time we returned. Finding the location and checking in was a breeze. It looks just like the photos and was very clean. It is in a great location for everywhere we wanted to go. We will stay there again!

We had an amazing family getaway and truly enjoyed our stay! Everything was seamless, and Roksolana was incredibly responsive, welcoming, and friendly throughout our visit. The location was perfect, with so many attractions and conveniences just a short distance from the Airbnb.
We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing family weekend getaway and would happily stay here again!
My only complaint is that it was a little pricey for the size, but it was close to downtown and everything was so clean and comfortable that it was worth it. Would 100% would go again.

Parking on some nights are harder to find but circle around and you’ll see people start to leave
very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. the washer and dryer was so handy since we went to the beach daily and needed to wash suits and towels. kitchen had everything we needed to cook a good meal and loved having the grill. my family and I sleep with sound machines at home so really loved having those. overall great stay,close drive to everything, would definitely stay again.
Perfect place that’s close to all of the main attractions and provide ample space/amenities for a family to rest/relax. Appreciate that there was a pack n’ play and high chair available!

The neighborhood was not great- very busy, parking spots were always full, and we were woken up on two different nights with loud music across the street. Not much nearby to walk to.
Overall the house was excellent, but would have picked a different neighborhood to stay in.

Pretty nice little place. Overall tucked away and accessible to literally anything you were wanting to do. We had no issues with the neighborhood and the host was awesome at responding when we had questions. The guide I was provided was also super nice!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in San Diego. The home was very clean, comfortable, and absolutely charming. The beds were especially comfortable, and we loved the high-pressure shower—such a nice touch after long days out.
The layout made it easy to come and go, and the location was perfect—close to everything and only about 10 minutes from the airport. The AC worked great, with separate units in each room, which kept everyone comfortable throughout our stay.
Our host was very responsive and accommodating, which made the experience even better. We also really appreciated the thoughtful amenities for our grandson, including a playpen and high chair.
The only minor downside was parking. While there is free street parking, there’s no assigned spot, so one evening we had to park a bit further down the street. However, it wasn’t a major issue overall.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!
Lovely place. Kitchen was very well stocked! Very comfy beds and big TVs. The location is a bit more removed than expected and was not walkable as hoped. The water gets VERY hot, be careful!

When I say this place is near everything, I mean EVERYTHING. We started laughing every time we put something in the GPS, and it said 9 mins away. It was such a convenience. Close to the airport, the beach, just everything. Perfect for tourists! And the home was SO clean. The neighborhood was quiet, we walked down the street in the middle of the night just vibing to music, and it was like we were the only ones awake lol. Will definitely stay here again.
This place was nice and cozy. Very clean and felt it was newly renovated. The towels are super soft. And the host had some special touches like chocolate on the bed along with some tea options. The neighborhood felt very safe. And it was close enough for driving to all the attractions that we wanted to visit. I highly recommend this place.
We had a fabulous stay here. Despite several comments in reviews about the neighborhood, we felt safe. We even walked around the neighborhood at 10:30 at night (we ate too much good food 😂) and felt perfectly fine doing so. Street parking was no issue and we parked out front of the home each day. I would absolutely stay here again.

Roksolana was amazing ,communication skills gets a 10/10 she went above and beyond . Home is cozy clean and peaceful . Quite neighborhood and love the fact there was plenty of privacy. My son graduated from MCRD upon our departure he forgot his uniform once we informed our host that we needed it as soon as possible she took time out of her day to have it shipped to us immediately, I will definitely come back to this very same beautiful home . Thank you for making our first experience in San Diego amazing. Everything is clear and description is as exactly how it’s described.

We booked Roksolana’s place while in town meeting some friends from college. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Didn’t spend much time in the unit but it was as advertised. Not in the safest of neighborhoods but the pictures of the home are accurate and more than met our expectations. Roksolana is a great host and communicator. Very attentive and responded in a timely manner to all our questions over the weekend.

The Downtown Oasis was very clean, and the interior looked just like the photos. The host was quick to respond and hand-delivered requested items. We traveled as a family of six (2 adults and 4 children) and fit comfortably. The location was ideal for visiting the San Diego Zoo, downtown, Gaslamp Quarter, and Balboa Park. The Safari Park and Legoland were about 35 minutes away, but Coronado Island was my favorite—it’s just 4.6 miles from the house, which was a great perk!
The nearby neighborhood had many diverse, walkable restaurants and delis. Parking was limited, but we were able to find spots easily, even if not right in front of the house. The house is very modern and stands out from the rest of the neighborhood. At first, I was a bit concerned about the safety of the area, but the neighbors were very nice, and I never felt unsafe. We often came home late after full days and never had any issues. We stayed for 15 days and will gladly do it again!

We had a great 5 nights at Roksolana’s place. It had everything we could ever need and was super clean and quiet. The neighborhood is centrally located and it’s easy to drive to most parts of San Diego. Parking on the street was always easy. We even walked to a Padres game, which took 30 minutes. No problem.
Home was a perfect fit for our group of 5. Very clean, modern and quiet. The residence is centrally located to several attractions to include the Airport, Zoo, SeaWorld, Petco Park, Coronado Island, etc.
This place was a wonderful spot for our trip to San Diego. It was easy to find and exactly as advertised. It was quiet and comfortable. There were lovely little "extras" like a lovely wooden box with endless tea selections and a very well appointed kitchen. There were great suggestions for local places to visit and the hostess was exemplary in her responsiveness to us.
The linens were of hotel quality. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Pots and pans were all in great quality. Greatly appreciated the olive oil ready to use in the kitchen. Very responsive host. The place was perfect. A great place to stay.
This is my second time staying at this location and it never disappoints. It's a lovely home. Very well kept and clean. The two bedrooms and a very nice kitchen are make it an easy recommendation to small families. It is just a few minutes from downtown so there's plenty to do. The host is top tier! Roksolana is very responsive and incredibly kind. This made my stay in San Diego simply wonderful!

Overall our stay here was really nice! We loved how cozy feeling it was & it’s a super cute little place. Check in was super easy and they were very understanding about our late check in due to our flight. I liked the area, no one bothered us & we always felt safe there. The only thing we had an issue with is one of the air units not working in one of the bedrooms and it made that room very hot and stuffy while we were there.. however we loved that each room has there own controllable air units. Overall we would absolutely stay here again.
The place was confidently located in a quiet neighborhood only about 10-15 min drive from most things. The place was very clean and included everything you’d need. Definitely worth the price.
The host is very responsive and helpful. The place itself is very nice and seems newly remodeled. It had all of the kitchen items necessary to make food comfortably, which I appreciate. Nice large tvs. The beds are firm but good quality.
There are mini splits in the rooms and we had some trouble with them. Lots of error codes and fiddling with them. One did stop working completely but I imagine that will be fixed. I normally wouldn’t mind but I have a very temperature sensitive 1.5 year old that won’t sleep with a blanket, so it ended up being a bummer for us.
I’m not familiar with SD but this isn’t the best area. I probably wouldn’t feel safe going for a walk around the neighborhood alone. Certainly didn’t go out at night.

Cons: It doesn’t have designed parking lots, street parking is free but can be inconvenient. WiFi hasn’t been very stable during our stay.

We appreciated the host and she was very attentive and for that we did enjoy the service. The one feedback I’d give is that we were told check out was at 11, and the cleaning crew was waiting at our door exactly at 11 sharp. Most places give a grace period of an hour or so before cleaning crew arrives. To have someone waiting at our door at 11am sharp (the time for checkout) was a bit uncomfortable and made us feel rushed, and saying if we didn’t get out in the next few minutes we’d be charged $75? There needs to be more of a grace period do avoid those awkward transitions. Otherwise everything else was great and we loved our stay.

The house was exactly as described and it was great to have a bathtub since I have a young child. I appreciated how clean and clutter-free the space was, and my child loved the Dr. Seuss books that were in the living room media console. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. I know an earlier review mentioned an issue with the bathroom door, but I can confirm that it must have been fixed because we had no issues with the shower water getting outside the shower. I also want to add that the shower pressure was excellent! We had very good luck with the street parking on most days, but usually not on late evenings. Although we didn’t use the outdoor patio, the gate around the house made it feel safe and private. We had no noise concerns. The curtains were strong blackout curtains throughout the house, but you could open them and get lots of natural light, which is a plus for me.

Great place! Loved the bed, linens, and amazing tv. If you love to lay in bed and watch tv like I do this is the place for you. I gave the area 4 stars instead of 5, but it’s normal for any downtown area. The good thing about the area was that it was very close to the children’s museum that we wanted to go to and very close to the zoo/balboa park. Very clean and organized home. The host had a few nice extras such as the slippers for wearing around the house and the little sound machine. Felt luxurious. It was very quiet inside couldn’t hear anything from outside or even from the other room. Was easy to cook because there were oil and spices provided. Parking was very easy and convenient. Would recommend!
This location is great - we were 10-15 minutes from everything we wanted to do in SD. Nicely furnished and had everything you could need. Parking was always available in front of the house. I appreciated the ice machine, W/D, and smart TVs - great bonuses for a STR. We walked to a great little Mexican restaurant a block or so away for an easy dinner.
Our only issue was that she shower significantly leaked anytime it was used and the floor would get very wet. The host stated they were waiting on a part to fix the door so hopefully fixed soon.
This is an amazing place to stay at San Diego. Cleanest Airbnb I have stayed so far. the location is close to most of the San Diego tourist attractions. 15 minutes from Balboa Park, 15 minutes from USS Midway. Would recommend to anyone looking for an amazing Airbnb
The house looked like the pictures, very accurate. Even though there wasn’t a reserved spot, we easily found parking in front of the house even when coming home very late. The beds were very comfortable and loved having the smart TVs in each room have all their apps already logged in. Felt right at home. Lots of amenities in the kitchen….especially if you like tea. Walkable to some good taco joints and a tienda. Would stay here again!
My family and I stayed here for my mother's 60th birthday vacay; 3 adults and 2 kids. The home was easy to find and in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. We weren't far from a lot of our outings. Def felt safe with the privacy gate and access codes. The inside of the home was very aesthetically pleasing. We had everything we needed to cook/reheat in the kitchen. Plenty of spices and yummy tea flavors.! We didnt use any of the games but saw they were available. Smallest complaint was that the path to the laundry area was rather narrow & in the other property's backyard, and the lil wispy plant pollen by the gate door would get all over you. But still no biggie. Overall, we all enjoyed our stay & def would love to stay again when back in the area.!
The house was spotless and maintained well. It was quiet at night, and we felt safe. The bedroom was large with modern TVs and bathrooms, and the rental had all the required amenities for us. The kitchen was also appropriately stacked, and the host was very responsive. The best part was the location, which was close to many of the key attractions. We would love to stay here again when we revisit San Diego.

Cute spot in an upcoming neighborhood. Quiet at night and felt safe. Large and modern TV’s, bathrooms and the whole rental was very clean.
The house was super clean, well stocked and had lots of little extras. They really put a lot of thought into the renovation. My kids loved having a king bed and huge tv in their room. The beds were comfy and there were extra blankets and pillows. The house itself was fantastic. The only thing I’d let people know, because I wish I had realized, is no fault of the host or house itself. The area is pretty sketch. Lots of bars on the windows and a run down apartment building a few lots over. Also, the street parking was a nightmare for us a few of the nights. We had to park about three blocks away one night, but we visited at a very busy time of year (July).
This place was perfectly located based on our plans for the weekend, which included a ballgame and downtown dining.
The place was great. It was clean, had a high chair. Very easy to get in. Felt like a nice hotel. I have no complaints!
Only comment is the shower spills/leaks outside so be careful. Also the bath plug did not work. Backyard is connected with duplex so you share the washer & dryer.

The place looks like the photos. It says it fits 6 guests but it is tight. It has 2 bedrooms and a pull out couch. It is close to downtown and dining. About 40 minutes from Legoland. about 10 minutes to the San Diego Zoo and Pier. The bed linens are comfortable and adjustable AC in each room.

We loved this place! Very simple and cozy. I also really appreciated having coffee, tea, salt, pepper, lots of kitchen condiments and olive oil waiting for us. It is nice to not need to buy those things when you get somewhere for just a few days, but you wish to cook. Another thing we really appreciated was that bathroom had plenty of shampoo, conditioner and soap.
Location is very easy to find, close to major freeway and close to many attractions. Only about 10-15 minutes from seaworld, zoo, balboa park and downtown which was important to us. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and use it again when back in SD.

The place is as what is advertised and even better. It was perfect for my family and we enjoyed the stay so much. Weather was quite cold and the fire pit was a good way to bond outside with the kids. Place was very clean and communication with Roksolana was very easy. Location is also nice and just near SD Zoo.

Very clean, modern space. The only cons that I can think of is that the space is a lot smaller than the pictures. Also, the sliding door to the bathroom will not stay closed and had no rubber stopper on the bottom, causing water to spill everywhere and completely drench the foot rug.
This place was amazing! The outdoor fence provided so much security and protection it was great for our two and four-year-old the neighborhood is quaint and I walked down to a market every day to get coffee. Every beach was less than 15 minutes away, we will definitely return and highly recommend this place. We had every amenity at our fingertips and cooked every night on the beautiful gas barbecue and sat around the fire pit talking about our vacation.
Roksolana’s place is an ideal base for a visit to San Diego. The house is clean, modern and well-appointed. Communication was clear and timely. Minor details - no dedicated parking but was lucky to find a spot within a few paces of the property. Do wish the laundry was indoors instead of in a shed in a neighboring property. Neighborhood was quiet but wouldn't quite consider it walkable
De BnB van Roksolana is in één woord geweldig! Het is allereerst schoon, de bedden liggen fantastisch. De keuken is voorzien van alles wat nodig is om goed te kunnen koken. Ik verbleef er 4 nachten met mijn 2 puberzoons en zij vonden de grote tv's in de woonkamer en in beide slaapkamers prachtig. Wanneer wij weer naar San Diego gaan dan boeken wij absoluut deze bnb bij Roksolana weer.

We stayed here for a girls trip to San Diego. It was a great location, close enough to easily access everything, but far enough away for a quiet night in. The host went above & beyond, even mailing back a sentimental item left behind by one of the girls.
Very clean and comfortable place. Close to San Diego sites. Beds are very nice and kitchen is well stocked. Washer and dryer are large, convenient to have and worked well. We felt safe and the area outside is quiet and well lit. We did not have any trouble with parking. Roksolana was very quick to respond to my messages.

Super clean place with a well-stocked kitchen of cookware and utensils. The bed was comfortable and the wifi - both upload and download - were super fast. There is only street parking, but it felt very safe. Would gladly stay again!
Roksolana’s place was very clean, very quiet and felt safe and secluded. The pictures and descriptions was spot on. Comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. We loved the filtered water and a pitcher of water nice and cold in the fridge waiting for us. This location is close to everything, 10-12 mins anywhere we wanted to go and see. Roksolana was a good communicator and her husband was finishing up work with the irrigation system when we arrived. He was supper friendly and checked in to see if we needed anything. Lovely house, clean, very well equipped. Great beds. Parking in the street, mostly a spot next to the house available, located conveniently, corner stores nearby. Washing machine and dryer available, which was super convenient.

Very lovely home. Great location, very quiet neighborhood. The beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. Enjoyed the back yard festivities until I got bit up by the bugs. I suggest that they get a bug zapper or something. Overall, I would definitely rent this house again when back in San Diego.
This was the perfect Airbnb for a great vacation in San Diego. It’s in a quiet area, was safe and secure, very clean, and you’re able to get to basically anything in San Diego within 15 minutes. Highly recommend!

Spent a week at Roksolana’s with my gf , we had an amazing time together , everything we needed for our trip was there. The kitchen was amazing and aesthetic. Roksolana put an an awesome place together. Parking was easy usually in front of the house but occasionally no more than a block away. Area was safe for those who are worried about that sort of thing. Highly recommended you will not be disappointed.

our rental was everything we needed for our short stay and for our small size family nothing to complain about only the parking situation is limited. Early in the day their is plenty of parking but past 5pm expect to walk back to your dwelling since their is no designated parking other than that our stay was enjoyable.

Roksolanas place is super clean comfortable and spacious. I highly recommend it when going to San Diego. It is so close to everything and has great real Mexican restaurants close by. We will definitely use this place on our next San Diego trip.

Roksolana's place was perfect for a weekend stay. It is a 10-minute drive from Gaslamp Quarters and the Padres Stadium. We got in later than expected but the check-in time was flexible which made our lives easier. There was plenty of street parking as well. The place is nice and cozy and the kitchen is beautiful! We slept so well in the spacious beds and we were glad to have such a nice place to stay.

The stay was very good, it felt like home. The host was very responsive.
Cute, modern bungalow, perfect size for a family of four. Close drive to restaurants, coffee shops, the zoo and Sea World. The interior was extremely clean and tidy. Roksolana and her husband were responsive and helpful when we had difficulty locking the front door/keyless entry (while they were on vacation).
As a family of four, we stayed In Roksolana’s Appartement for three nights and absolutely loved it.
The bungalow has modern furniture and is very well equipped. The kitchen and bathroom has all you need (in fact more functions than we have at home), two large bedrooms, wardrobes, super comfortable king size beds, towels, linen, tvs in each rooms… There is a lot of love to the detail, you can tell Roksolana wants her guests to feeling at home: (new) books for the kids, games for the family, photography books of S.D.
The garden/ patio with bamboo is cosy, quiet and has space for a big table for 6 people, a barbecue and fire place.
The Appartement feels safe, in a good neighbourhood, the supermarket is near by.
You need a car to get around but that is common for San Diego unless you stay in a hotel in the centre.
There was always a freeparking slot in front of the house or in the street.
The communication with Roksolana was very easy and super nice, all the best! We will stay again!
The rental was as described. Everything was very clean and check-in instructions were very clear. Short drive or Uber to a lot of fun stuff in San Diego. The neighborhood is older and a little run down, but it was quiet and we never had any problems.

Normally I don’t write any reviews but this was worth a review. Being in San Diego and other big cities, parking can be a bit difficult at time which is the only downside but we managed to find a spot within a block fairly quickly. The air bib not only feels private but very homey and nicely updated. My family LOVED staying here. From the outside it seemed like it would be small but it was the perfect size to accommodate my family. Only 8-10 minutes away from downtown and other major parts of the city like the zoo (which we went to as well” was so pleasing. It felt like you were in the middle of it all and it was so convenient. I would recommend to anyone who wants to stay fairly close to everything with an updated clean feel while still feeling like home.y basically honestly didn’t want to leave. And our host was amazing and very accommodating so that was a plus! Wont regret it and hoping to come back again 🙂
The home was very clean which was a plus and beds were very comfortable. It was true to word the is is a very quite neighborhood.
If you get back after 10pm parking may be a little challenging but always found a space a little further down and we took Uber as well, given parking is tough everywhere you go in San Diego.

Let me start by telling you that this place was more than we expected. My family and I were left speechless. We enjoyed it so much that we didn’t want to go out and explore San Diego. Please do not let the area fool you. We have honestly never stayed at such a clean, well put Airbnb.

The place was exactly as described and suited our needs for the week we stayed. Very clean and updated nicely. Although the neighborhood isn’t exactly ideal it was quiet and very central to everything we needed to get to during our stay.

Roksolana was very quick to repone when I had questions. It was a super cute and very clean place and everything seemed to be 10-15 minutes away. The only downside is there isn’t assigned parking, but we were able to park nearby. Definitely recommend!

Loved this place, and it was perfect for the children , place was exactly like the pictures and very nice and beautiful, we all loved it and will return to book it again. It’s a very quiet neighborhood, parking wasn’t hard to find at all at the most like a house down from the listing we found a spot. Yes the neighborhood does not look fancy but we did not have a problem with it, but no one bothered us. Host was very responsive and and quick soo glad that it wasn’t booked due to our Airbnb that cancelled us last minute. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Wonderful place to stay. Eveything felt like it was 10-15 min away. Amazing house that was perfect for our little family. LOVED that she had the pack n play as well as a high chair! Will definitely try to book again in the future!
