This was a great spot—central to a lot of the places we needed to be around. My group tends to push the deadline. That goes for dinners, events, and airport arrivals. The 10 minute drive to Hillcrest and the airport allowed us to spend more time relaxing and exploring. Ocean beach was also pretty close; at one point about 11 minutes.
The place was clean, had some extra towels and linens, and exactly as described. Check-in experience was fine, although when mapping the address, we got dropped off at a spot close to the place (down the hill where you had to take stairs up). We ended up mapping back to a different address across the street so it would take us there every time. The parking space was great, but thank God we didn’t get the wrangler or a standard SUV. Would’ve been a tight squeeze.
Would’ve liked beach towels and stuff for use, but that’s not a must have. Since we’re from out of time, it would’ve been good for us. All and all, a great spot!
Adam’s place were just like the description and photos. He was very quick with a response to any questions or issues that I had. Worth the stay.

This was my first time ever staying at an Air BNB or using an Air BNB so definitely unchartered territory for me.
The experience was really nice. It's great to have a home to come back to when you are on vacation the offers the privacy of your own bedrooms and kitchen.
I appreciated the cleanliness of the home. It was exactly as described. I have an XL SUV and parking felt a little snug but we totally managed. While it is near the highway, when you are inside, it is very peaceful and we didn't hear the roadnoise. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony in the morning, looking at the water and planes.
Now knowing how great and easy it was, we look forward to staying here again.

Stayed a few days for MCRD graduation. The place was clean, comfortable beds, and a nice kitchen. Traveling to the base was easy and walkable. The games cupboard was a nice touch and allowed us to relax in the evenings as a group. Will definitely check if this is available next time in San Diego.

This was a lovely place that's super close to the airport making it really easy to get to and view nearby areas.
Adams place was just like described. The Airbnb was a cozy home. The area was safe, very close to the airport, however the noise did not bug us at all. We slept through the night. Check in and out was fairly easy with cleared instructions. You do have 1 on site parking, there is street parking. Everything is fairly close to visit like a 10-15 min drive. I would stay at Adams home if i visit San Diego again! (:

Super clean upon arrival, great host, great location 12 minutes to mission beach, 10 minutes to Petco Park stadium/Downtown San Diego. 5 minutes from Old Town San Diego. We loved the home, super comfortable. Would definitely stay here again! 😁
Amazing place to stay with a family of 5 including an infant. Playpen was the perfect touch to make this place feel more like home. Kids enjoyed the scenery and we loved how local everything was to us. Being very close to Sea World and Balboa park made this location worth it. We will definitely consider staying here again!
This was one of our least favorite stays in San Diego. I take my son and my father every year, for the last four years. We agreed that this was our least favorite location. The listing should be called "planes, trains, and automobiles." Due to noisy location. There was zero peace & quiet. The home is right on the freeway, airport, with a train track that is very active about a block away. While the listing was about 90% accurate, I don't believe the living room photos have been updated. The bathroom is tiny, we had to turn at an angle to use the toilet because it was so tight. When washing clothes, the dryer took hours to complete. Finally, this property seemed to be the definition of "doing too much ." They converted a family home into three different rental units. The first night was loud with footsteps over our heads until 3 AM. Lastly, they expected 3 cars to fit in the driveway. While this would normally be OK, but tight, we had to wait for others to move cars just to park.
This was a great place to stay! It's central, so close to everything and everywhere. Even though it's very close to the airport, it wasn't bothersome or noisey at all. It's close to Coronado and La Jolla, and there are excellent restaurants just a few minutes drive. We especially enjoyed Saffron Thai and Pizza e Birra. In the home, it was the little things. It was spacious and clean, there are TV's and sound machines in every room, ceiling fans and mini-splits to keep cool. The kitchen was clean and had everything that we needed for cooking, and we enjoyed eating outside on the porch, and the hot tub. Adam was a great host, very helpful and friendly, and easy to reach. I liked that there were options for paying for early and late check-in times, although I didn't take advantage if it. There's also an online guide for the home which made everything very easy. We hope to stay here again the next time we visit San Diego.

The location was perfect—close to the beach, great restaurants, and all the attractions we wanted to visit, while still being in a quiet and relaxing neighborhood.

The space was clean and everything was close by to explore. Had trouble with getting the hot water to work in the shower but the host was quick to respond and help with the issue.
This was a cute place that seemed to be pretty centrally located for the things we did while in San Diego. There is a lot of road noice when outside, but you don’t really notice it much when inside. The beds were comfortable and everyone slept well. The bathroom is on the small side, but was clean and had everything we needed.
This was a nice sport for our short getaway.

Adam's place was really good, clean and centrally located. If you have car, its nearby every other attraction in San Diego. Its close to airport but its not noisy at all. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting San Diego

Negative: The photos did not represent what we actually got. The couch is completely different than in the photos. Same with the table. There are no views at this property. The view is the airport and power lines. Cleaning was not great. Probably the worst thing we experienced were crumbs in the linens we had to change. The lights were dusty. The sink was stopped up. We had a great stay in San Diego. My boyfriend and I took this trip to celebrate his birthday, and this location was absolutely perfect for everything we wanted to do. It was conveniently located, making it easy to explore the area, enjoy nice dinners, and experience the nightlife without feeling rushed or far from the Airbnb. We stayed for 3 nights and each night we had a nice dinners, and explored little Italy, Gaslamp, La Jolla, sunset cliffs and everything in between! Oh and the hot tub was a nice touch, though it is shared with the rest of the guest, we never ran into anyone but it’s something to keep in mind, if you want more privacy. Great bars nearby, walking.
Adam was a wonderful host! 🙂 his communication was excellent, and he consistently checked in to make sure everything was going well and that we had what we needed. It's a very nice home very quiet and private. Everything was clean, very family friendly with baby items and a few emergency diapers and feminine products. kitchen has basic staple ingredients and seasonings, basic kitchenware, gas stove which I prefer, microwave, dishwasher. lots of clean towels and blankets. if you love sunsets this is a great spot in the evening when the sunsets on the patio there's a table and chairs to enjoy the view. Adam has great communication answers questions and is proactive about giving enough information to cover FAQ and checks in to make sure everything is going well during your stay. I would definitely choose this home again if its available next vist.

Convenient location for very quick car access to a number of San Diego attractions. Comfortable beds. Slept well. Pleasant living room and dining for four. Kitchen was fully functional for meal prep including oil, spices, coffee, and more. Noisy outside due to city noises and quiet inside. Hot tub was a nice touch. Even met some nice neighbors down the street.
Our stay was great, the instructions of where to park and where to go were very clear the place was nice and clean, they gave us a lot of extra towels which was nice. It’s a very good location, very central to a lot of stuff especially the beach
Great place to stay because its close to the attractions like little italy and sea world. It was me, my daughter and my husband but it was enough for us to sleep and enough a good movie in the night time as a family. Outside the house there isnt much of a view but everything else is as said. The hot tub was worth paying for as well!

This property in San Diego is at a great location and worth a stay for a small family.
Positive: Here's what we got with this property: a spacious living room with 2 large couches; a small dining area with a table and chairs; 2 bedrooms with large comfy beds; a kitchen with a full-sized sized fridge, gas range/oven, over the range large microwave, 2-sliced toaster, coffee maker, etc.; a bathroom with a shower (large shower head!) and plenty of towels; large TVs in all the rooms; a patio; access to a washer and dryer, and a hot tub (on the property- a short 25-second walk). Oh, and there's a parking space for one vehicle in the driveway. It saved us money as we did some grocery shopping and prepared breakfast on a daily basis and dinner a couple of times. The other feature worth mentioning is that the location is excellent. It's super close to the airport, downtown, the piers, La Jolla beach, Coronado, Mt. Soledad, and a short ride to the San Diego Zoo and Safari Tours attractions. You really have easy access to everything from this location. Lastly, it was easy to work with Adam. He was very responsive and answered all of my questions. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
Negative: One can always find something to critique about anywhere, but I don't think it's worth it in this instance. OK, here's one: to get to it, you have to drive up a short but fairly steep hill, although the location's street itself is not steep. But that's the terrain in some parts of San Diego (or San Francisco or Seattle for that matter). That's why you can have some great views from various sections of the city.
The place was amazing and just as described. It’s a great location near most tourist stuff but still far away such that the street feels safe and private. Adam’s attention throughout the entire weekend made everything super easy. Would definitely stay here again in future visits.

We had a wonderful stay at Adam’s place in San Diego. I’ll admit I was initially hesitant because of its proximity to the airport and train station, but the bedrooms are thoughtfully situated at the back of the property, and noise was never an issue. Even as a light sleeper, I slept soundly every night, and my toddler did as well.
The home itself was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally well-equipped. Adam went above and beyond to make it family-friendly—there were toddler dishes, a great selection of children’s books, and a variety of fun board games for all ages. The location was ideal: close to many of San Diego’s best attractions, yet tucked into a cozy, safe-feeling neighborhood.
Adam’s attention to detail and hospitality made our week-long stay comfortable and stress-free. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting San Diego.
Éramos un grupo de de 7 personas y todos quedaron muy contentos con el lugar ya que era muy acogedor y cuenta con lo suficiente para la estancia de los huéspedes y área muy tranquila y cuenta con jacuzzi muy acogedor pero no pudimos entrar ya que estuvo ocupado cuando quisimos usarlo, y muy buena actitud y amabilidad de parte el anfitrión si volvería a hospedarme en este lugar
Location was phenomenal for us- we wanted to do coronado beach and san diego zoo and everything was 10 mins or less- gave amazing food recs- we had some great restaurants around us. Easy to get in and out with the parking spot and using the app to lock and unlock the door. Checkout was quick wasn’t a lot of things required, kid friendly home. No complaints. and the sofa beds are actually very comfortable

This place was absolutely perfect! Came with my husband and 3 kids for about a week. It’s just a couple minutes from the airport. It took about 10 minutes to get to most places we wanted to go. Perfect location! Place was clean and exactly as described. Had everything we needed and more. Adam was extremely responsive! Always responded within minutes of messaging him. Had an issue with the WiFi being extremely slow. He responded back within a minute of messaging him and helped us get the issue fixed without issue. Not a single complaint! Would absolutely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The outside does have highway/airport noise but you couldn’t hear it inside. The place had everything you needed. The bedding felt like high end hotels. We went for a walks in the neighborhood and really liked looking at the houses. Very close to everything. Host was very communicative.

It’s a great place that is close to everything. The house is mightily tiny with everything you need. Quite a few of thoughtful touch. The only complaint I have is that the place is close to highway and a bit noisy outside. But you cannot hear much in the house. We had a great stay with our 1.5 years old.

Tucked away in a hidden cul-de-sac in San Diego, this spot was peaceful and beautiful. The kitchen and living room were modern and cozy, and the bathroom had a clean stand-up shower that was perfect for a short stay. The jacuzzi was a major plus, and having easy access to the washer and dryer was super convenient.
I’d say this place is best suited for a small family rather than a group of friends—it’s a chill, homey vibe. Only suggestion: the pillows could be bigger and softer. Other than that, I had a relaxing, enjoyable time.

Location is great, close to downtown, Balboa park, Old Town and close to the airport. You might hear the train or planes during the day but it is not loud at all. Very quiet area. Had all the essentials for a baby/toddler. Well maintained property and great communication with property manager.
Great location. Clean and organized space with enough space for the family. My only complaint was the hot tub was set to 60 degrees so we had to turn it up and couldn’t use it for the first day and a half and we were only there for two nights.

We loved this property! We are new to air BNBs and we were shocked how many extra things were available to use that came in handy! We used the games, sound machines, pack and play, highchair, pots, charger, even salt and pepper, blankets etc. The functions were easy to use and the hot tub and laundry were a huge perk. We felt right at home and the location was perfect. We would definitely come back! Thanks Adam!
Our family with two toddlers stayed for five nights in February 2025 and we were pleased with our stay. We particularly appreciated the two king beds, fully equipped kitchen, and the central location (close to the airport and downtown). The noise from the airport / freeway is noticeable on the patio and to an extent in the living room, but the bedrooms allows for an undisturbed sleep. Overall, a well-operated AirBnB with a lot of little details (sewing kit, noise machines, etc.). Would happily stay again, thanks!

Está muy cerca del aeropuerto y del zoo y sea world. Si tienes auto es una ubicación muy cómoda. Todo estuvo impecable. Ofrecen condimentos para cocinar, shampoo y crema en el baño y tiene muchos detalles para que te sientas cómodo. El aire funcionaba perfecto y lo usamos para calefaccionar la estancia. Adam respondía muy rápidamente y ofrecían muchas indicaciones útiles anticipándose a lo que pudiéramos necesitar. Todo impecable y las habitaciones, camas y almohadas muy cómodas. We were there for my son’s Marine Corps graduation. Very close to the base. It was private and quiet neighborhood. Exceptionally clean! Adam kept us in the know and answered our questions! We had a very good stay.
Really comfortable apartment with every thing you could need. The two bedrooms are like two mastersuites, each with their own large TV. Kitchen is fully stocked even for long term stays. We enjoyed our stay!

Had a good stay no complaints
Our stay was for 4 nights and our party included two adults and a 2-year-old. The location was very convenient and close to many major attractions in San Diego (e.g. SeaWorld, zoo, Fashion Valley). Adam was very responsive and accommodating as a host. Check-in and check-out were easy and smooth. The unit itself was clean and had many conveniences, especially for a family traveling with a toddler like us (e.g. pack ‘n play, high chair). The bathroom is small but well stocked. Parking for our car right in front of the unit was very convenient as well. Overall we had a comfortable stay at Adam’s place and would recommend it to others.

We stayed here for our sons graduation from MCDR. It was very close to the Recuit Depot and convenient to go to Coronodo Island and the Little Italy area. Our stay was very comfortable and the house had everything we needed to make a quick breakfast and pack lunches to head out for the day.
Adam's apartment exceeded our expectations. The unit is exactly as advertised—cozy, beautiful, and impeccably clean. The comfortable mattresses were a plus on our stay. Adam was also very responsive before and throughout our stay. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we're in the area.

There’s a few stairs to get to the property so it was a bit complicated for my grandmother who is elder. But overall well maintained and as described.
The place was comfortable and easily located for driving. Not a very walkable area. Beds were good and parking for one car was easy.
It was an amazing stay with family as the place had great facilities and attractions were nearby. We'll definitely return to this holiday home.

Lots and lots of positives here! The place was beautiful, the hot tub was warm, the kitchen was clean, there were lots of extra amenities - things like shampoo, and lotion, an ironing board and an iron. There was tea, and coffee and lots of things available for folks who forgot various things

Great overall trip, Adam was very proactive and always available if a situation develops. He provides follow-up to make sure that your situation is resolved or if other steps need to be taken. It was my family first time in San Diego. The Airbnb was close to the airport, friendly and located in a safe surrounding for walking. View from our place of stay was outstanding, weather was perfect. We arrive before check-in time; we texted Adam and without delay we were able to get into our Airbnb. Inside was very clean, and clean an organized kitchen was a plus. A lot of items that I would have expected to purchase were already provided. Thanks, Adam, for making our first trip to San Diego one to remember. We will definitely be back.

The townhouse was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. Also we were very impressed by how the house was fully stocked with everything you would need.. 10/10 recommend.
Two bedroom condo with pull out couch good for 6 people but one tiny bathroom. Would say it is adequate for max 4 people on a good day.
Towels were fresh but stained.
Sheets were clean.
Very noisy due to proximity to Interstate 5.
There is a hot tub but looked dated and uninviting.
Checks all boxes for good accommodation but does not exceed your expectation on any front.
We had a short stay of two days. Everything was fine and clean. 10 min away from Gaslamp district. Looking forward to staying here again.

Great place with a proactive and helpful host! The place was clean, quiet, and matched the exact description given by the listing. What you see is what you get. Two king size beds and an extremely large couch bed easily slept our party of 6. Each room and the living room comes equipped with it's own air conditioning and mounted wide screen TV. The place is located in a convenient location smack dab in the middle of San Diego, so you can realistically visit most attractions from up in La Jolla down to the border.
We had a great stay! Absolutely loved the location and the house:) super comfy and clean. We would 10/10 stay here again! Amazing home owners

Adam has a great set up with easy instructions to get in and out. He was responsive and helpful when asked questions. The space was clean and very well supplied. It is a bit dated but kept up well. The space is shared and while we could hear others, it wasn’t ever late or disruptive.

We came for our son’s graduation from Marine boot camp at MCRD and we lucked into this house! The cost was almost identical to an hotel and it was so much more comfortable, private, and in a convenient location. So close to the base! It felt like a lovely little treehouse in a beautiful neighborhood. Adam has gone out of his way to stock the kitchen and he has thought of every little thing you could possibly want for your stay… including slippers in the living room, and a big sewing kit - top shelf in the bathroom. He has even put sound machines in both bedrooms in case you are sensitive to the sounds of the city. We didn’t use the laundry facilities or the hot tub, but I peaked in on both and they looked very nice. The beds were comfy, and there were plenty of towels in the credenza in the living room. Great use of space! There are big screen TVs in each bedroom and the living room. And a spice rack in the kitchen. Adam was very responsive to all of our questions! A real superhost!
They have thought of everything you could possibly need. Especially in the kitchen. Very considerate and good hosts. Beds were comfortable. And everything was very clean. Lots of helpful items if you have kids. They loved the big couch bed in the living room. Sadly we could never get them to bed before 10pm, so we never got to use the hot tub. Overall it was great. Would stay again.

Adam's place was great. We had no issues with neighbors or parking. Everything looked and felt clean. Beds are confortable. TVs worked just fine. Description says 4 beds and two of these beds are pullout beds just fyi. We loved our stay and will definitely come back.

We came to San Diego to watch our Son graduate at MCRD. Adam’s place was really close to MCRD, and it had all of the amenities and more. If we were to ever visit San Diego again, I’d stay here most definitely. We have 3 boys, and we were all comfortable. Super cute and quiet! Way better than staying in an overpriced, cramped hotel room.

Adam was such a good communicator. Checked in with us before, during and after check out. Never had that before with an Airbnb property before. House looked just like the pictures and was very clean. Everything was convenient and would recommend staying in.
This rental is great for any families going to the MCRD for graduation. It is less than 2 miles to Gate 5 (visitors entrance). Very comfortable.
We were so happy with Adam’s place! It was clean and bright and cozy. There were 5 of us and there was plenty of space. You have typical plane, train, and automobile noise from being in San Diego, but the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and even though the other units were full, we never heard them! It was a super easy ride share to the U.S.M.C. base, the airport, downtown, and beautiful beaches! I would 100% book with Adam again and definitely recommend his place to others!!!

A beautiful place, inside and out. Very good location to downtown as well. I would consider this a small place but there were 5 of us adults and we had plenty of space for what we needed. I would love to stay here again!!
The place was amazing and matched its description down to the tee only thing was that the hot tub didn’t seem to rise above 91 degrees according to the thermostat displayed on it but we still enjoyed it nevertheless. 10/10 place for sure would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay. Local restaurants and bars accessible from a stairway that leads to Main Street. Quiet street with limited parking at actual residence, but with additional parking nearby. Would stay here again when visiting San Diego.
Adam’s place was really awesome. Best Air bnb we’ve stayed in. It had all the amenities plus extra. This apartment had everything you could possibly need and more. Added bonus of Netflix and my fave tea - Earl Grey! My kids were also very happy. Each room had a seperate TV so they could watch their own show in their room after a long day of sightseeing. We also liked the indoor shoes and it had a free laundry room at the back. Thanks for the extra care you took getting this place ready Adam. I will recommend it any day for anyone.

The airbnb itself was very clean and inviting and situated in a convenient location (<10 minutes from airport and downtown San Diego). The amenities were great and the space was super comfortable.
Adam himself was very responsible with check-in and check-out details and always made sure to respond to any inquiries we had in a timely manner. We were even able to easily coordinate picking up something that we had left behind, thank you so much!

Adam was a great host, easy to communicate with and proactive when reached out. The location of his home was very central and close to everything. The neighborhood is calm and safe. You can hear the highway and the airplanes from the balcony/terrace area but cant hear anything from inside the house. Would work great for 4 ppl, might be tight for more than that. It has everything you can need during a short stay, including great childrens books which we loved. And it was very clean. The jacuzzi and washer/dryer are located in the far back of the unit and is shared with the other airbnb tenants who rent the back section of the house. (Entirely seperate). Would recommend! 🙂

Adam was very proactive and helpful since I made the booking. Really loved his place. It's close to everything that one wants to do in San Diego.
This property was situated in a cul de sac and although it is more like an apartment that shares space in a larger home with other 'apartment type' rentals we felt comfortable and never heard the other guests who were also staying at this location. The laundry was convenient and although we never were able to use the hot tub, it was in a nice location. The place was spotless, beds comfortable, and amenities made our stay easy and comfortable. The only downfall for us, that didn't necessarily negatively impact our stay, was noise. The home is located very close to the highway, airport, and train. Although the noise was muffled from inside the home it was definitely noticable. I wouldn't suggest this stop you from renting here in the least but know that it does exist if you are looking for a more peaceful area.
This place is awesome! It’s tucked away in a safe area with great surrounding restaurants. It’s also a short drive to everything! The place is very clean and spacious. Adam is a great host, very responsive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to be back!

This is a rare find close to the airport, downtown and the zoo. Adam’s place is super clean and modern with all the amenities. It’s located close to highways, so it feels very urban yet offers onsite parking for one vehicle. Check in and checkout was a breeze and Adam was very responsive. Great place for accessibility to all that San Diego has to offer.
We stayed here while we were in town for a family members graduation from marine bootcamp. We didn’t spend much time at the house because we were out all day every day. That being said we did use the hot tub every night we were there, which was nice after long days. Check in was easy. They have a smart lock. We messed up and parked in the wrong spot the first night and that caused a big mess for the neighbors. So I would just say read the instructions carefully. Overall it was a great place and good price. The host was also super communicative. Always available and was super proactive with asking us if we needed anything.
