House was good, location was extremely accessible to go anywhere. Parking is very hit or miss so be prepared to look for a while. Wished the bedroom had AC, overall stay was good.
Good spot near the main strip in Little Italy. Airplane noise is there but didn’t both my group. One bathroom for 5 people was the only hassle. Otherwise a clean property that definitely gets the job done.

Had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean and inviting, the amenities were well thought out, and we had everything we needed. Being an avid tea drinker, I especially appreciated all the tea varieties. I love that ear plugs were provided for the noise of the planes, but after a while we got used to it, and everyone slept well. The host was very communicative, which made me feel at ease. Overall, it was a great experience!
We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location was absolutely perfect, with so many things to do and explore right in the area. The place itself was incredibly clean and felt very welcoming. This place was a great place to stay! It was in great area and Adam was very responsive and friendly. The place looked exactly like the photos and the AC was a big plus. However, the street parking did become a problem, especially during the weekend. If you are a light sleeper, this place would probably not be the best as the airport is extremely close and the planes landing get really loud. This was not a problem for me and my partner though. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

Adam was a responsive and attentive host. The neighborhood is safe, quiet and walking distance to Little Italy. We were able to find street parking within a block of the home. The home is very comfortable, cozy, and clean. The sound of the airplanes did not bother us at all. Ear plugs and two white noise machines are provided. My family really enjoyed our stay!

Adam’s place was only a 5-10 minute walk to the Main Street in little Italy (India street) which was very convenient. The neighbourhood felt safe and the property was clean and well equipped for our needs. It’s directly under the flight path so can be loud but flights seem to slow down at night and he had a dish of ear plugs which I used a couple of nights.
We had a minor issue with the tub faucet to which Adam was very responsive in terms of having it fixed in a timely matter. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider this Airbnb if I ever find myself in San Diego again!

Let’s get this out there - the listing is super accurate and communication is great. If you’re going to have an issue with airplanes flying over, this might not be the spot for you unless you’ll be okay with earplugs.
My partner and I didn’t mind the sound at all (it took a little to get used to but I was prepared for that!), and really appreciated the proximity to the airport/Little Italy/Gaslamp as well as the value. Check in was easy, the bed was comfortable and this spot has all the necessary amenities. Also, I never had an issue finding free street parking.

Adam's place exceeded our expectations with all the special touches: filtered water in the kitchen, fully stocked kitchen, higher end blow dryer and flat iron, and modern appliances. The TVs were huge, and easy to connect all your streaming channels. The bed was extremely comfortable, and adjustable - great for watching TV or reading in bed. The property is small, but very functional and comfortable for my husband and I for a four night stay.
The sounds of planes flying over did take some getting used to, but was as described. I hadn't anticipated how close the planes felt...and how that translated to sound. The provided sound machine and earplugs definitely came in handy.
Free street parking was easily accessible, and we never had to park more than a block away. You do have to cross a busy on-ramp and go under a bridge to get to Little Italy, but was only a few blocks. We found lots of great restaurants within 10 minutes or less, and Adam provided great recommendations.

Our stay was great. The location was central and close to all the places we visited. We had an issue with the dryer and Adam was very communicative and it was resolved quickly.
Yes, the airport is nearby and planes are close but we got used to it and it was fine. Earplugs were provided if needed.

We had a wonderful stay in this cute and cosy home. The kitchen was particularly well stocked and equipped with quality appliances. It was a great place to enjoy our morning coffee and toast! We felt safe in the area and it was an easy walk to Little Italy. We would definitely stay here again.

Adam is very timely on replying to our messages. The household is clean and tidy but it little bit crowded. The location is not the ideal if you want to have a quiet stay cause it is too close to the airport.
The place was very well stocked (even had a small first aid kit in the bathroom!), very clean, and orderly. Was prepared for airline noise and planned accordingly so it wasn't an issue for us. Enjoyed the patio and the games provided (though we did stop and plug our ears when the planes went overhead). Adam was very responsive- to our request for early check-in and for an issue with the smoke detector. Easy walk to Little Italy. Beds were very comfortable, even the 2 pull out sofa beds (which our 12 & 16 y/o used).
awesome place if you don't mind the planes during the day. planes do go right over but I wasn't around the place In the day and didn't really notice them at night. it didn't seem like there were many at all between like 11pm-6am. I was visiting family in the neighborhood and this was the perfect spot. walkable to lots of good stuff in little Italy and right off a main road if you need to get anywhere. huge nice tvs. was planning on spending more time hanging on the back patio but ended up only going out back for the well stocked laundry. comfy bed/bedding

This place was perfect for my group of 6! It was in a great location to balboa park and little italy. It was also great to access the trolley and certain bus routes to different neighborhoods around San Diego since we didn’t rent a car. We also loved the back patio! Everything was clean and well taken care of, I would highly recommend!
noisy, you are directly in the flight path of landing planes, you can look up and see a plane about 50 feet above you. Every few minutes it's a loud jet right next to you, no way to avoid the sound. it does seem to stop around 10 pm. Besides that its a great location. airbnb should put a noise filter with the house and it would change thing dynamics a lot.
Great place. Thought the security cameras outside where a bit odd as I have never encountered that at an Airbnb before, but I think cali has some stick rules for Airbnb’s . Seriously so well stocked, no air bnb is stocked that good with supplies and I am thankful for that. The airplanes were just like what we see in movies.

We had a great stay and are happy to leave 5 stars. The location was excellent with very easy access to Little Italy. The bed was extremely comfortable, the space was very clean, and we really appreciated how well stocked everything was. The listing accurately noted that it’s close to the airport and directly under the flight path, and it was quite noisy at times despite earplugs and sound machines. Overall, a great spot in a convenient location.
Adam's place was great. Location is super walkable, just on the edge of Little Italy and the Embarcadero. The water is a 5-10 minute walk away and Balboa Park less than a mile walk in the other direction. And the place was very clean! As mentioned in the listing, the house is directly within a flight path and airplanes fly overhead frequently. We didn't mind it and actually really enjoyed watching them fly over from the back patio. But if you are worried about the noise, you may want to look for another option.

This is one of the most well though Airbnb I've been to. They really payed a lot of attention to the details. The kitchen is well equipped. We immediately felt good there. Bedding was comfortable. You have to be able to ignore the loud sound of planes flying over about to land at the airport but, quite surprisingly, that was not too much of an issue for us. On the other hand it's conveniently located close to the airport. If you travel with a baby, it's a great place although some of the baby items may need dusting.

Our family had a great time. The place was clean and convenient to many local attractions and restaurants. Kitchen supplies were adequate and of good quality. Road side free parking was almost always available. The place felt safe.

Most everything was perfect for this airbnb. Easy checkin, fully furnished, very well thought out and planned, clean, etc. Location wise it is just a short walk to little Italy but it's worth noting you have to cross under the 5 freeway. The only other thing is the apartment is directly under the airplane flight path so if you are sensitive to noise you will may have trouble working/sleeping. They did provide earplugs.
Otherwise, we would stay again and Adam was very helpful with everything. Would recommend!
I've stayed in a lot of airbnbs in the US and in different countries, and this was the best one. You feel right at home. It's just the right size and the attention to detail was phenomenal. Very cozy, very well stocked, safe and convenient in downtown SD. Highly recommend. I really felt like it was my place while I was there! wonderful
Adam’s place is a great spot to land for a San Diego getaway! The pictures were accurately depicted, the place was clean and comfortable, and the location is a short walk to the best Little Italy has to offer. Adam was a communicative and responsive host, as well. The home is directly under the flight path, however, this was well known to me in advance and ear plugs are provided. As an aviation geek, this was not bothersome to me and find it to be part of the San Diego charm. I would stay here again. 👌🏼😎

Me hospedé con Adam y la experiencia fue excelente. El lugar estaba impecable, con una limpieza de 10, algo que valoro muchísimo. Se nota el cuidado en cada detalle: la sala con juegos de mesa, un difusor, una TV enorme; la cocina completamente equipada con utensilios de excelente calidad para cocinar y preparar tus comidas diarias, además de café y todo lo necesario para disfrutar bebidas ricas. Incluso cuentan con platos y cubiertos para niños, lo cual es increíble cuando viajas en familia.
El baño siempre limpio y con lo necesario, y el cuarto principal es súper acogedor gracias a su pantalla grande y una chimenea eléctrica que da un toque especial al espacio. En general, todo está pensado para que la estancia sea cómoda y cálida.
La atención de Adam fue inmejorable, siempre pendiente y preguntando si necesitábamos algo. La ubicación también es ideal, cerca de muchos lugares de interés.

Wonderful little duplex in a very convenient part of town! Had no trouble at all walking around little Italy and the surrounding area, including our walk to the Rady Shell. Every accommodation you’d need is accounted for and the place is very well equipped.
The only drawback was the flights overhead can be a bit loud, but our host thought of that and left earplugs in the bathroom to help!

I was looking for something last minute to enjoy that was still close to Little Italy and the freeways. this was perfect! I love seeing the planes go over the house. it's pretty cool. if you don't like noise that could be a problem but it's not bad at all. parking. you got to find your own street parking but I was able to find one every time. beautiful inside washer and dryer. the AC worked amazing. they gave you some complimentary Waters. cool little digital fireplace. definitely would return

The home was very beautiful and well kept. There was no problems whatsoever. You are 8 minutes away from little Italy and downtown. There are varieties of food and restaurants. The view is beautiful and very scenic. If you are looking for a beach trip this is the perfect place. You are 10 minutes from every beach! Overall this place was a 10/10 my family enjoyed our stay. Adam is a wonderful host and made sure everything went smooth and responded fast.

The home was nice and clean and is in a convenient location from the airport and a walk away from Little Italy, as listed. That being said, we frequently saw and heard planes above us arriving to the airport, but it didn’t really bother us. Earplugs were provided for this reason I assume, which was appreciated. Adam was very responsive and helpful with the check in/ check out process, and it was very seamless.

Place is exactly as described! Had a great stay and Adam was very easy and responsive to communicate with. As others note, aircraft do fly directly above the place, but I don’t believe it should be a deal breaker. I didn’t mind it at all really, and the provided sound machines did their job at night! Definitely a great place to stay if it fits your needs.
This was a nice place to stay. I had my 2 kids with me and it felt safe. It was very clean and had great appliances. This place was what I expected upon arrival.

This place was unbelievably beautiful inside and the little back patio. The bathrooms details were very convenient. The 1 bathroom would probably be the only downfall but we made it work. The host was very tentative and responds very quickly and cared about our stay and checked on us the next day to see how it our first night went. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it.
This was one of the best properties that I have stayed at. Exactly as advertised. The easiest check-in/out. The accommodations were as advertised and then some. I couldn’t have asked for a better stocked kitchen, which made my stay most comfortable. This place is very clean and well kept. Most convenient location as it is so close to Little Italy that my friends parked at the property and walked to dinner with me. I hope it is available when I come back to town.
We fell in love with this listing! The home was beautifully decorated and organized. My favorite part of the whole house was the living room. I was concerned about how the plans would affect my 15months olds sleeping, but we all slept like new born babies!!! Such a beautiful home. Will definitely be looking forward to renting again next trip.

For full transparency, the unit is truly right under the flight path—and very close to the airport so the planes are flying low (which means loud). But Adam provides a white noise machine and with ear plugs, I had no trouble sleeping. It shouldn’t break the deal but come in expecting that.
The place was very clean, and very well appointed. Didnt get to use the kitchen but it was thoughtfully stocked. The small backyard made me wish the weather had been warmer, it was very cute. Keep in mind airplanes pass overhead which I thought would be a problem but we slept like babies in the comfy bed. Would love to stay again.
