Very great stay even for just a day, i was able to feel like it was a breath of fresh air. Very good for a small family, absolutely enjoyed my first booking of this place.

Place was exactly as described. Only issue we had was checking in because my last name was different on the booking somehow, but Adam was responsive in helping get that issue fixed.
Perfect spot for anywhere from a single person to a small family. One of the cutest studios I’ve ever seen, complete with a beautiful backyard where you can enjoy the evenings. I brought my two small dogs with me and we had a blast soaking up the sun and playing in the backyard. Adam is the perfect host. He is very quick to respond and will help you with any questions you have. I had noticed an orange tree in the backyard, so I asked Adam about it and he said I was welcome to try some. They were so sweet and juicy! Overall this is a 10/10 spot if you are looking to stay in the general San Diego area! I would stay there again in a heartbeat 🙂

this was a beautiful quiet place in the neighborhood, when you get there park on the side of the garage, the backyard had a very nice chill spot to relax and hangout. it was nice that he had baby items like a high chair and pack and play. We forgot our iron and it was a + that he had one in the dressers along with an ironing board. we enjoyed watching tv better than the hotel ! i would definitely recommend family or friends to come stay at this spot. also everything is spotless and CLEAN in this space. Thank you Adam for letting my little family and i stay here.

The place is perfect for 2 people. It would be a squeeze for 4.. The garden is nice in back, but the entrance ground is mostly dirt. The entrance is off and alley which was difficult to initially find because shrubbery hides good view of the house number on the street. The host Adam was wonderfully helpful and easily reached.
We enjoyed our stay. Place was very clean and stocked well with everything expected. Adam was a great host. Checking in by the app to make sure we have everything or have any issues. We would stay on properties Adam handles again.
We had a wonderful 3- night stay in Adam’s place. The apartment was clean, cozy, and looked just like the photos.

This place was perfect for a quick weekend getaway in San Diego !! My friends and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was the perfect place to crash after a day out on the beach or in the city. 10/10 would recommend!
We had a great stay to use this as our home base for my daughters college visit to SDSU.
We loved this little spot! We tried to stay at a hotel near the aiport and the prices were so high. We stayed at Adam's place and it was perfect.
We ate downtown at La Mesa (City Tacos) and went to nearby golf course. Highly recommend his place!
The neighborhood was peaceful and the space was comfortable.
Having off street parking was a plus and the garden was beautiful.

We had a great stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family. The neighborhood was quiet, and the laundry was especially convenient after beach trips. The property was about a 30-minute drive to the beach, SeaWorld, and the airport. Grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants were also nearby. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
Great stay, Adam was very responsive when I had questions. Very clean stay and enjoyed the Orange tree outside in backyard.
Adam was a fantastic host, and we had a wonderful stay. The space was a little cozy for two adults and two young children, especially with all of our luggage, but it worked well for our needs since we were mostly there to sleep or stop in briefly between adventures.
We appreciated having access to the complimentary laundry, which was shared with the guests in the main house. Everyone was courteous, and it was easy to coordinate switching loads.
On the last night of our stay, we realized two beach towels had been misplaced. Even though we reached out to Adam late that evening, he responded promptly and personally delivered our towels the next morning right on time, as promised.
Adam is an excellent communicator who checks in to make sure you have everything you need and offers great local recommendations. As relatively new Airbnb guests, this experience set the bar high. It was truly a 10/10 stay, and we would absolutely consider staying here again in the future.

I’m sorry I didn’t realize it was a Casita. I was just didn’t feel at ease washer and dryer were in their garage. I believe the owners were home. Try to park where ours provided but parking was too small for my truck, but overall everything was spotless clean this was my first Airbnb this is most definitely for a good two person or one

Quiet neighborhood so great to relax in after long day.
Such a perfect space for me and my boyfriend. We spent 2 nights, 3 days here and it was perfect. Private entrance, secure but easy to find and enter with a code for the door. Private backyard space. Absolutely worth it.
Please disregard the above star ratings. We walked into the rental and literally already turned around and left. We were probably in the unit for less than two minutes, so we’re unable to rate those star ratings.
Everything was perfect ! Host answered any questions I had. House was 10/10 will definitely stay here again ! Thank you so much

This was a great simple place to stay. If you don’t read the description carefully (we didn’t!) the couch is not a fold-out bed but still a long-enough, comfortable spot.

Positive: We would come again. Nice back yard. Good use of space. Well located for us with family members in SD and El Cajon. Love the Sunshine Pancake House. Having a laundry room is very helpful.
Negative: Bathroom sink is backed up. Bed needs a box spring mattress. Too low for old people. Gate needs to be fixed. That back step is risky.

It was my first time visiting San Diego, and I truly enjoyed my stay. The space was very clean, comfortable, and private which was exactly what I was looking for. I felt safe and at ease throughout my visit. The location was great, close to several tourist attractions, which made exploring very convenient. The host did an excellent job with communication as well. I would definitely stay here again!
Although my stay was only two days, they were by far the highlight of my time in San Diego. The space is intimate and charming, but the real treasure is the backyard, an absolute slice of paradise.❤️❤️
This space was perfect for my stay in La Mesa. It was close to things I needed, easy to access and quiet. The outdoor space was nice for sitting outside in the morning sun and it was also private and fully fenced in.

Lovely stay, location is quiet and private. Parking was available and safe. You can really sleep well here without worrying, yet you’re still just a quick little drive away from major attractions. Loved it!
Great space; may be small but it meets the needs for a short comfortable stay. Biggest hurdle was parking alongside the unit since I had an SUV and had to go in at weird angles to parallel park within the area.

The place is nice and cozy but still felt spacious. The neighborhood is peaceful with not much going on which makes for quiet and relaxing nights, but not far from local attractions. Instructions were clear, rules were easy to follow, no overly complicated checkout list, and Adam was very attentive, his response time was really quick! The space had everything we needed to enjoy a weekend getaway.
The space is small (no smaller than the photos indicate) but so well appointed! Just the space you need. They have a hot water kettle, which as a tea drinker, I LOVED. The bed was very comfortable and my eight-year-old slept very well on the expandable couch. We had the best trip!
Nice little space for couples who are looking to stay for the weekend. For sure no stove so plan accordingly. Wished there was a broom and dust pan to clean up little messes. Backyard was okay, it could use some tidying. Otherwise, we felt safe and had a good time. The instructions were pretty clear and easy to follow.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Adam's place. The size was perfect for a solo traveler or couple and the space comes with a large, hotel-style king-sized bed, so it felt like I was getting the best of both worlds. There was ample street parking in addition to the spot reserved specifically for the unit. Lastly, the space felt very private thanks to being slightly off the street and through a separate gated entrance, which also made for a very quiet experience.

We really appreciated the quiet privacy staying here. The backyard garden makes a nice spot to enjoy morning coffee.
Everything we needed was all within a short drive: restaurants, shopping, and even a driving range with batting cages.
Having free laundry onsite allowed us to pack very light, which made for easier travel.

Pretty great spot, nice quiet area and friendly neighborhood. Was as described, just smaller than you think it is in the photos. Well hidden, and good local restaurants around. Only downside I’d say is the alternating between apps and parking on the side door with the neighbors parking pretty close to the assigned parking spot. other than that, it was an amazing stay and Adam was very helpful. Smelt great and was super clean when we got it

The place was better than we expected. It was small, but perfect for two people. It was very clean and for being so small, it was laid out so well that it did not feel that way. Loved the small patio and sat out there every morning drinking coffee and reading. We felt safe and comfortable. Adam was very responsive with my questions. We would definitely stay there again.

MONEY TRAP
A day after booking… I noticed that the location does not allow guests to stay overnight (info shared after booking). Since we were visiting my sister and my young nephews, if things went late they needed to be able to sleep over.
The host refused to refund my money even though they had 5-6 business days to rebook with someone else ,which caused me to have to keep the booking.
Even after a person who lived in the neighborhood verbally and physically attacked my husband, sister and I they still refused to refund our money for the remaining nights. *Owner please check surrounding cameras for reference.
Also, after having to stay there, my mom who was very unpleased with the small living quarters had a huge melt down (mental health).
There was hair
There were stains
Parking got blocked so we had to park on the street and drag our luggage from the back to front of the house.
In general, this is a way for someone to make money and thats all.
It was just what we needed and excellent location too.

Perfect spot with charming garden space with lime tree and fountain (was not on during our stay) you can open the French doors to, AC worked great, everything was just as described. Clean laundry space. Close proximity to Lemon Grove Target shopping center, SDSU (why we were in town) and highway access, Ralph’s, Vons. Would love to stay here again!

The place was great, as was Adam. But it is run by a mgmt company, which was a first for us. Having a $70 charge per 30 minutes for an early or late check-in/out, I feel, was excessive. The place is a nice room, but jumping between the Airbnb app and the mgmt company app was a little annoying.

The space was clean and quiet. The backyard was peaceful. However it is smaller than I expected and I thought it had listed as having a washer and dryer, but if they were there I never saw them.

This was a perfect stay for our visit to SDSU. Close to campus, parking was easy, private backyard and a cozy room & bathroom complete with a small kitchen area, an inviting couch and a comfy bed. Checking in and out was convenient. Quiet & safe neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!

Nice, clean and private space. Close to my family in La Mesa. It took us a little bit to figure out the lock with our phone but once we got it, no problem. I don’t think the phone was picking up at first. In hindsight we could have called Adam and I’m sure he would have given us the code. There is also a key code which you can punch in, which we figured out later. Good communication from Adam and expectations of the guests were clear. Comfy King size bed. Very quiet so we got great sleep after our travels. Cute little private back yard. Nice to have off street parking. We arrived early to the area but did not have access until the 4 pm check in. There is an offer to pay more for early check in if needed. Overall we had a great stay and would stay again. Thank you Adam and Airbnb!

Nice clean and quiet with a lit garden
We chose this property as it is close to our daughter and son-in-law. It was exactly as described, a perfect place to tuck in for the night and start the day with an excellent selection of teas (thank you). Very clean. Bed was quite comfortable, and the sofa bed was more comfortable than most. Bathroom was very clean and bright with great water pressure/temp. Location is optimal for university proximity and La Mesa is close by. We will definitely look to stay here again.
A very wonderful stay, my boyfriend and I traveled from VA for our anniversary and to visit family we haven’t been able to see since, they’ve moved. Area is very quiet, looks exactly identical to the photos. Perfect space for two. Laundry is very easy to locate and home was super clean however, the only thing I would love to have in the kitchen area is an actually stove to cook on since, it does have a small kitchen however, Adam does provide plenty of dishes for cooking, toaster, blender, microwave, tissue, etc. anything you need. Lastly, the garden area is super peaceful woke up to birds chirping every morning. I would recommend cutting the grass down to sit on the chair provided. Overall, a wonderful stay, would definitely stay again!!!

Adam's place was small but workable for our little family of three (plus one guest for part of the trip) to visit our daughter in San Diego! Location was great, decent amenities inside and quiet place. Free street parking was nice. Adam was very responsive, kind, clear with instructions, and a great host that way.
We live a couple of minutes away and were having our house fumigated. Adam's place was exactly what we needed. We enjoyed it very much. When we checked out, we left an important item and Adam was so very helpful in helping us retrieve it. We would recommend this host without hesitation.

had a great time at Adams place. the bed was huge and comfortable and that's very important for my wife and I to sleep well. Great AC. Clean bathroom. Tea and coffee provided. san Diego is easy to get around and the location worked great for us.
I would say price was very fair for a studio, very calm and safe neighborhood and everything you need Adam has it for you.
We enjoyed our stay and the property was just as described. So close to places we were going like Balboa Park for the Zoo and museums.

Came to SanDiego with my daughters and spouse. Loved Adams place super cozy and clean. Beautiful location in a private and quite neighborhood. Was in San Diego to drop off my daughter at the University of San Diego so Adams place was super conveniently close to that and other places we visited. The home was perfect in all the ways, clean, modern, and comfortable. Adam was a great host very responsive and friendly. Will definitely book a home of his for our next trip to San Diego!
The location was in the center of the city. The neighbors were friendly. I met the lady across the street with her granddaughter. The entire home was pristine. Very comfortable. Every amenity you could imagine (i.e. coffee, tea, sugar, syrup, etc. Every appliance was of the latest style. So many appliances one might never use (i.e. coffee make, espresso maker, toaster, about (4) other stylist unique, high-quality appliances that I couldn't tell what they were used for. This speaks to my lack of exposure. The cathedral ceiling with ceiling fan, was an excellent classy touch. All the paint colors functioned together seamlessly. One could detect that a lot of time was spent putting the pieces together. Spending my three days and nights was a time that I wished would never end !!!
The house is close to the college my son is attending and was perfect for 2 people. Adam was helpful and answered all our questions. A good deal for the space and location.

Great location- close to SDSU and easy to get to the beaches. Walked to Lake Murray which was a nice surprise. Suite was very clean, quiet and comfortable.
The home was wonderful on the inside, the outside however was a little unkempt in the backyard and parking was difficult the only street to park on was a street sweeper on the instructions it tells you you can park in front of the garage as long as you don’t double park but Adam had parked his van in the middle when we arrived and it was there every time i had tried to leave or come back, the laundry instructions were a little unclear however once found the laundry room was spacious and clean with 3 working washers and dryers, The home guide was helpful but it lacked a sense of compassion the guests are required to clean all dishes and take out the trash essentially returning the home to the point you walked into which is fine for my own home but i feel like the host should be the one providing support not the other way around. all in all the home was livable and definitely an option in a pinch but i definitely wouldn’t call it a vacation spot and the price was a little on the high end
A great stay overall. The place was nice albeit a bit small compared to my expectations but there was no misrepresentation of the space from the owner. Could be a bit cleaner especially the chairs in the backyard but all in all I don't have any major complaints! Thanks Adam for being a great host

We were in from out of town for a family matter. Adams place was perfect for our needs both in location and size/amenities. We had 3 adults and were comfortable. It is decorated very cozy and the bed was comfortable. The garden is so beautiful and peaceful- this was one of our favorite parts. Having free parking was a huge benefit for us. Adam provided toiletries (that smelled and worked great) and a hair dryer which was a bonus!
This was a great stay, the area was quiet and private. The house was clean and adam was very responsive.

Great place was very quite neighborhood
We were so pleasantly surprised at how nice the studio was when we arrived. Place was immaculate, modern, comfortable, just as pictured. Pretty garden but we were out all day and we were not able to enjoy it. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood, parking next to gate and on street. Also, loved the box of teas as I’m a total tea drinker! Adam was great communicating and provided lots of helpful information before and during our stay. We would definitely not hesitate to stay there again!
One of the cleanest airbnbs I’ve stayed in. It was homey, bed was comfortable and so many great amenities. The sound machine was a nice touch and parking was a plus!

The place was clean, and a quite area, and affordable for the time we stayed (3) days, the only thing I would recommend is something to cook on, a hot plate, or bbq, it would make the the stay much more satisfying knowing you could cook a warm meal.
Cozy enough for one - it's a fairly small space so likely not recommended for more than two people tops. Bathroom especially is tight. Outlets are a little sparse as well. Ample parking on the street is a plus.
A lot of the steps for check in and out are done outside of the Airbnb app. The process is more or less completely automated and you will not have to interact with anyone to get in and out.
Not bad for a place to sleep and clean up, so if that's all you need it's a decent spot. But not enough space to spend a lot of time in and certainly not with multiple people. Amenities are good.

I really enjoyed our stay here. Even though it was small the space it was well maximized. Our kids were able to run around freely without feeling to overwhelmed. The bed was super comfy. Loved the sofa bed for the kids. Everything was super clean. The check in system absolutely loved! It makes it super convenient! Was able to throw a load of laundry and was super thankful for that coming from having a 3 year old. Adam was very responsive. Loved the communication and check ins. I would highly recommend this place for a family of 4.

I loved how thoughtful he was with checking in throughout our stay just to be certain we were okay and ready to help with truly anything! I could tell he was just a phone call or text away! I loved the little patio and enjoyed the doors open all day just to let the fresh air and light in! Such a beautiful spot! My husband and I stayed in San Diego for Valentine’s Day weekend. When we checked in, we both absolutely loved the house. It was spotless, chic, and everything was easy to navigate such as the remote, AC/Heater, refrigerator, etc. The bathroom was nicely furnished and had extra towels for us. We had such a nice time just laying in bed watching movies, and it was the perfect place to call home for three days. Parking was easy, there’s a lot of access on the street but we utilized the parking right in front of the house. The neighborhood is walkable and friendly. We went on a prayer walk on Sunday and it was an easy and peaceful walk with minimal incline. My husband and I are picky with places we stay at; but, we could’ve have picked a better home.

We had a pleasant vacation at Adam's place! It was ideal for a short stay, equipped with all the listed amenities. However, parking was occasionally challenging, especially when a car occupied both spaces in front of the garage. On our last night, we encountered noise issues from the front house—loud music, screaming, and the washer/dryer running until 2 am. Despite messaging Adam about it, we received no response, leading to multiple disruptions during the night for my sister and me.
Great little place to stay. Several restaurants close by. San Diego Zoo and Museums were only about 1/2 hr away

Our stay was very enjoyable, the space was very clean and welcoming.
Also it didn’t bother me so much I do think it’s worth mentioning that we had two different roaches crawling around the space during our stay.
Adam’s place was as described. It’s a cozy and comfortable place. The bed as advertised was very comfortable. With clean bathrooms and quiet neighborhood - it was a comfortable stay for us.
Adam was very responsive for the interaction we had. Wouldn’t mind staying there again if we are planning to visit san Diego again.

We had a nice stay in La Mesa. The place was very affordable and a short drive to everything we wanted to do. The bed was very comfortable.
I loved staying here! This was my first time staying at an Airbnb. Adam answered all my questions quickly and was incredibly friendly! Check-in and check-out were smooth and seamless. Before arriving, Adam sent me a detailed message with everything I needed to know. The location is quiet and private, which I appreciated since I worked partially remotely there. I felt safe and secure without any worries. All the little touches Adam included, such as coffee grounds and creamer for the coffee machine, a variety of teas, shampoo, and conditioner, along with the body soap and bar soap, and even more! I recommend this place to everyone looking for a nice, clean, and private place to stay in San Diego!
Very cute and cozy place tucked away from the street so it felt secluded. Very close to lots of great restaurants and the freeway in case you want to travel further. I will definitely be coming back because almost the entire time I was there I kept thinking that I wished I was there for longer.

A great little place in a quiet neighborhood! Plenty of places to eat nearby and close to the freeway to get anywhere you want to go. The place was cozy and perfect for our family and Adam was very responsive and answered all my questions, perfect place to stay!
We needed a place to stay close to home 3 nights as I’d let visiting friends use my home. There were more amenities than we needed but felt it was set up well for visitors who needed anything!
My family and I enjoyed Adams place. We traveled with two toddlers and stayed in the studio. The king mattress was extremely comfortable. My children enjoyed the small private backyard area. Location is in a residential neighborhood and you do have to drive for attractions but everything is about 15-20 minutes away. We enjoyed strolling around the neighborhood as well. Thank you for our stay!

This truly is a secret hidden gem. When driving down the street, you enter san diego burbs but once you drive down the discreet alleyway on the left of the address and enter the gate with the welcome sign, you will be transported to a cute, clean, conveniently located guest house. The guest house functions like a studio but it has everything you need to make it a great spot as a home base for your SD travels.
We were traveling with our toddlers and it was perfect for our family of four. There is cute yard great to have coffee and breakfast. Also included 1 pack n play and high chair for families with small kids. The king size bed was comfortable after a long day of travels. Location wise you are only 15 to 20 min away from gas lamp and most SD locations, about 40 min to Legoland.
Adam was highly communicative. And made sure everything was accessible. He promptly answered any questions and pretty seamless check in and check out. Would highly recommend it this cute spot.

Adam’s place is a GEM! It was perfect for me and my friends short trip in San Diego. The neighborhood was peaceful and you can park your car right in front of where you stay! Adam was the most responsive and communicative host I’ve ever had. I hope we can come back to this cozy spot soon!
Place was cosy small studio with microwave and mini fridge. Mostly if you are looking just for a place to sleep and sightseeing. Not much a place where you could stay to just chill, as if you have small kids and they take a nap or fall asleep early, you will need to turn off the light and TV, and backyard had not light to at least go outside at night and chill. Sunday is laundry day, so if you want to chill, forget about it as washer and dryer are adjacent to the studio wall. Main door has cracks and shower is mall, but convenient if you are just using studio por sleeping and you will expend the days out and about. There is not enough place to prep food, so if you have small kids like us and where thinking about meal prep ve aware. Not much are to eat either as you are asked to watch-out for stains as you could be charged for extra cleaning pay or something like that. Big and comfortable king bed, but the side away from the fan and the mini-split is pretty warm. Also sofa area.

This was a nice, quiet, and safe neighborhood. Our host was very responsive and kind when we had a few mishaps arise! The Airbnb is exactly how it looks on pictures! Everything is neat and clean. There is an iron which is plus! Overall good area and nice host! Would stay here again:)

Quiet location, close to downtown La Mesa with its interesting restaurants. Loved eating at Swami's but there are many other places to eat as well. A Sprout's grocery store is also downtown. The place's French doors open onto a private garden area that is serene. Monarch butterflies flitted around the garden when we were there. The grassy outdoor area includes a table which we found great for eating breakfast. Plenty of parking is available along the streets nearby. Access is easy through a gate on the alley to the backyard. The location is also close to SDSU and the 70th St. freeway entrance to Highway 8 that will take you to the beaches. Or head south on Harbinson to University and then to Massachusetts to hop on Highway 94 for a fast ride to downtown San Diego and Balboa Park. Walk through the neighborhood to see interesting house architecture and landscaping. San Diego walks can be hilly and this neighborhood also has some steep streets. Find the La Mesa Rainbow Stairs!
Adam was very communicative from the beginning and checked in with me mid-stay to be sure everything was okay. The room is well constructed and maintained. The king-sized bed is very comfortable with a lot of pillows to choose from. The backyard is also well maintained and a great place to relax. The neighborhood is quiet and parking is not a problem at all. I would definitely stay here again.

This unit met all our needs. Nice quiet neighborhood. The unit was bright, clean and nicely decorated. Had a cute little back yard area for morning coffee. Super nice king bed! I gave the price a 4 star because we are from the Midwest and San Diego costs ,all the way around , are a little inflated from what we are used to.
But we would definitely recommend staying there to anyone.
